Maximum torque of the most powerful engine is 385 Nm. The average fuel consumption in the van with such a power unit is only 6.3 liters per 100 km, but on the autobahn this figure can be much lower. The transmission in the van is a manual 6-speed, thanks to which at high speeds it is possible to keep fairly low revs, which affects the consumption in a pleasant way.
Drive and Functionality
Oddly enough, but the driver of Ford Transit Tourneo is more comfortable than his passengers: on the front of the car there is independent suspension with struts type McPherson, with variable pitch springs and stabilizer bar.
Tourneo can boast with the presence of several bonus features: a rear-view camera (the image displayed on the rear-view mirror), navigation system, and multi-function steering wheel. Ford Transit Custom is the first European commercial vehicle, equipped with an advanced multimedia system SYNC with many features of voice control and integration of devices with the function of assistance in emergency situations.
