Incidentally, it reaches 1524 mm long, 1257 mm wide and 526 mm deep. Folding tailgate can withstand the weight of 90 kg, and therefore it can be used as a bench. The carrying capacity of a pickup truck is 700 kg. The body is provided with a small compartment lid for compact cargo.
Due to the modified bumpers Ridgeline length grew by 5 mm (to 5258 mm). Its wheelbase is 3099 mm, and height - 1785 mm. The width is 1938 mm, the front track - 1704 mm, and the rear - 1699 mm. Since 2009, the 17-inch alloy wheels became standard.
Honda Ridgeline has received a new instrument cluster. The speedometer, located in the center, is separated from the other dials. The center console has new switches, and over them there is a color display. Between the front seats there is a sliding armrest with a small compartment for small luggage. The RTS version is provided with USB-port, and the RTL - Outlet 115V. The rear seats fold 40/60, the front passenger seat can also be folded. The design of the steering wheel is changed; in the RTS it has the audio control buttons. The seats are covered with a new cloth and equipped with active headrests.
Basic Ridgeline RT is equipped with an onboard computer, air conditioning, power windows, keyless access system, cruise control and a 100-watt audio system with CD-player. Safety equipment includes six airbags, anti-lock braking system ABS, the VSA stabilization system and the pressure monitoring system in tires. The RTS has additional: CD-changer, dual-zone climate control and electric driver's seat. The most expensive version the RTL includes 18-inch wheels, leather upholstery and heated seats. Among the options: navigation system, a rearview camera and Bluetooth.
Honda Ridgeline is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine capacity of 250 hp. The torque 340 Nm is achieved at 4300 rev / min. Due to the modified camshaft and the intake manifold the engine became more thrust at low revs. Fuel consumption is 15.7 l / 100 km in the urban cycle, 11.7 liters / 100 km in the city and 13.8 L / 100 km in the combined cycle. Ridgeline can tow a trailer weighing 2.2 tons. By the way, since 2009, the towbar is the part of the basic equipment.
In an automatic 5-speed transmission the gear ratios of the third and fourth gear are shortened. Four-wheel drive can be switched on: in normal conditions, it is front wheel drive, but if necessary, the torque is transmitted to the rear axle.
