The model is equipped with an unlined power-operated top which makes the saloon a bit noisy. The dashboard houses a centrally-installed speedometer with a variety of switches and gauges. The integrated infotainment system contains multiple advanced functions, including iPhone apps for Internet radio and social media access, voice commands, GoPro camera, etc.

The model is shipped in 9 exterior color paints and 11 interior finishes. The customers are free to choose between top-notch cloth, leatherette or pure leather saloon upholstery (or even combined). All trims come with Sport key that dramatically sharpens steering.

Powertrain

In continuation of Mini Roadster review, it must be said that the base trim level car is furnished with a 1.6-liter engine that produces 121 horsepower and 118 pf of torque. While 6-speed manual transmission is standard, the motorists can opt for a 6-speed automatic one as an additional feature. This engine allows the vehicle to accelerate up to 60 mph for some 8.7/10.0 seconds (manual/automatic gear).

The S model accommodates a turbocharged version of 1.6-liter engine. It provides for 181 horsepower and 177 pf of torque. Depending on the transmission type, the car can gain 60 mph for 6.7/6.9 seconds (manual/automatic). The JCW versions come with analogous engine with turbo-boost specs. It is able to demonstrate 208 horsepower and 192 pf of torque, accelerating up to 60 mph for 6.4 seconds.
