Rolls-Royce Introduces Its Most Powerful Production Car

Rolls-Royce unveiled a special version of its Wraith coupe that is called the St. James Edition. The car is the brand’s most powerful production auto in history.

The St. James Edition is equipped with a 6.6-litre 12-cylinder twin-turbo engine producing 640 hp and 800 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with 8-speed automatic transmission.

However, it remains unknown what the new coupe is capable of. So far, we can just make suppositions judging from characteristics of the model it’s based on. The Wraith reaches 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds; its top speed is 250 km/h. It’s really intriguing how fast the modified version is.

The St. James Edition’s body is red with an unusual shade; it’s got an aluminium grille, chrome door handles, and five-spoke aluminium wheel discs. The auto will be produced in a limited edition. A number of cars for sale hasn’t been reported yet.

It should be noted that Rolls-Royce is going to introduce another model in several months called the Dawn. It’ll have a convertible top and the same 12-cylinder engine.
