Welcome New Skoda Rapid Spaceback ScoutLine

Welcome New Skoda Rapid Spaceback ScoutLine

In a couple of days, dealers across Europe will start to take orders for the ScoutLine, the new version of the Skoda Rapid Spaceback hatchback.

The ScoutLine has acquired some new design features in order to look more like an off-roader – it’s got redesigned front and rear bumpers as well as new side skirts. The new model’s body is protected with elements made of mat plastic - bumpers, wheel arches, sills. A client can purchase the ScoutLine either with 16- or 17-inch alloy wheels, which are created specifically for this version.

The ScoutLine is powered by the same engines as other Rapid Spacebacks: three petrol motors making from 89 bhp to 123 bhp and two diesel ones ranging from 89 bhp to 114 bhp. However, a fuel-efficient GreenLine engine isn’t available for the model.

The ScoutLine also has a new infotainment system that can be synchronized with smartphones via MirrorLink like in the new Fabia.

The Rapid Spaceback ScoutLine is meant for a younger category of clients than other Skoda autos. The automaker creates a youth-oriented vehicle not for the first time. It launched the Rapid Spaceback Monte Carlo in 2014 and the Fabia Monte Carlo in 2015.
